dancing lights
As a dancer and artist, I think this new form of visual arts is totally inspiring and exciting. Minoru Fujimoto created a programmable light suit for dancing! In his words he describes it as, "Lighting Choreographer is a system to expand the expressive capability of human body by lighting. It makes light effects on the user’s body synchronized with motion and sound, focusing on the viewing point that the produced effects recursively influence the choreographer." I personally love this idea, it reminds me of a more personalized version of the itunes visualizer! To read more of the article in which I acquired this information, click here!

little letters
What ever happened to the art of letter writing. Email might be fast but it is just too impersonal. Well Lea Redmond from Oakland, CA started the world's smallest post office service! For only $9 (and shipping of course) you can mail someone special a personalized note through her service. The recipient will receive a tiny letter in a tiny envelope with a tiny postage stamp and sealed with a tiny red wax seal of your initial! In addition, (and to make sure it does not get lost in the mail) it comes in a larger package with a magnifying glass so you can read your personal note!!! This is a must use service in my opinion.

movie signs
Want new art for your room? Tired of the traditional movie posters that have just too much going on and those silly quotes about the movie? Well look no farther, Pictogram Movie Posters by Viktor Hertz re-imagined the classic films in a very simple way. Using just the most basic information and typical pictogram images, he reinvented the art of movie posters. These are some of my favorite posters (and movies), but make sure you check out the other films available!
